A one-person studio making small, exact games.
Each one is built around a single rule you can learn in four seconds and keep failing at for an hour. No tutorials to sit through, no meters to wait on — the game is the rule, and the rule is the difficulty.
How the games are made
One rule, tested until it is fair.
The rule comes first
A game starts as one sentence. If the sentence needs a second sentence to make sense, it is not the game yet.
Difficulty is measured, not guessed
Every level in both games is run through a simulation before a person sees it, so a level that is impossible is a bug rather than a surprise.
Nothing is drawn twice
The boards, the glow, the sounds — all generated in code at runtime. The whole game ships with almost no image files.
Contact
A person answers this address.
Bug reports, press, and publishing questions all go to the same place — there is only one of us. Support requests get a reply within three working days; each game has its own support page, and it answers the common ones immediately.
